Jiffy Blowbar Policies

Membership Terms and Conditions:

  • Membership fees will be automatically charged to your selected payment method on a monthly basis.
  • An enrollment fee of $25 is required at the time of signup. Please note that this enrollment fee is non-refundable.
  • Memberships can be upgraded at any time.
  • Cancellation Policy: You may cancel your membership at any time without penalty. However, please note that if you cancel, you will not be eligible to reenroll in any Jiffy membership for a period of 6 months from the cancellation date.
  • Unused services do not roll over to the following month.
  • Jiffy reserves the right to modify membership benefits and terms with prior notice.

Booking Policy

Cancellation Policy

  • Notice Requirement: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.
  • Late Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the appointment will incur a fee of 50% of the service cost.
  • No-show Fee: Failure to show up for an appointment without prior cancellation will result in a fee equal to 100% of the service cost.
  • Refunds: No refunds will be given for late cancellations or no-show.
  • Deposits: Deposits are non-refundable.

Rescheduling Policy

  • Notice Requirement: Rescheduling must be requested at least 48 hours prior to the original appointment time.
  • Late Rescheduling Fee: Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the appointment will incur a fee of 25% of the service cost.
  • No-show Policy: Failure to reschedule and not attending the appointment will be treated as a no-show and will incur the no-show fee.

Late Policy

  •  If you are more than 15 minutes late, we may decline your appointment due to the impact on subsequent bookings. If this happens, you will incur a fee of 50% of the service cost.
  • Emergency Exceptions
  • We understand that emergencies happen. In the case of a genuine emergency, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss potential exceptions to our policy.

Communication

  • All cancellations, rescheduling, and refund requests must be made in writing, either via email or through our booking platform

Changes to Policy

  •  We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated to members via email and posted on our website.

Acknowledgment

  • By making a booking with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms of this booking policy.

Returns and Refunds Policy

  • Service Satisfaction: If you are not satisfied with the service provided, please contact us within 24 hours of your appointment to discuss potential remedies.
  •  Product Returns: Products can be returned within 14 days of purchase, provided they are unopened and in their original packaging. A restocking fee of 15% will apply.
  •  Refund Processing: Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days.
  • Damaged/Malfunctioning Products: We accept returns within 21 days for any damaged or malfunctioning tools or products. No returns will be accepted without proof of purchase.
  • Gift Cards: Jiffy BlowBar gift cards cannot be returned and should be treated like cash.
  •  Non-Refundable Services: All blowout services and memberships are non-refundable.

 Membership Policy

  • Usage Limits: Memberships are non-transferable and can only be used by the person whose name appears on the membership agreement.
  • Cancellation and Refunds: Memberships can be canceled within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, provided no services have been used. After 14 days, memberships are non-refundable. Membership cancellations will go into effect 30 days after the cancellation request is received. Enrollment fees are non-refundable. Members may rejoin after 6 months of cancellation.
  • Pause Policy: Memberships may be paused for no more than 3 months. 
  • Abuse Prevention: Any misuse of membership benefits, such as sharing with non-members or exceeding usage limits, will result in immediate termination of the membership without a refund.

Bonded Extension Policy

  • All of our Stylists have been thoroughly trained and have learned how to handle extensions with care. However, Jiffy Blowbar is not responsible for damaged or loose extensions as a result of a blowout service. Thank you for understanding!

Payment Terms

Jiffy Blowbar requires payment on completion of your appointment unless an alternative arrangement is made. We accept cash, direct debit, Visa, or MasterCard. We do not accept American Express. Late payments will incur a penalty fee.

Our Guarantee

Jiffy Blowbar liability is limited as permitted under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). However, if you are not satisfied within a one-week period of your hair appointment, we guarantee we will redo your hair for free.

Enquiries

  • We accept email inquiries about our services, hairdressers, makeup artists, and product range. We always try to respond within 24 hours of receiving your inquiry.

 Children’s Haircuts

  • Kids’ haircuts can be requested on Tuesday – Friday between 10 am and 5 pm. Please comb your child’s hair before the appointment. If we need to spend time combing, an additional fee of $10 will apply.
